Dem Gestalter Lukas Adolphi wurde vor einiger Zeit sein Smartphone gestohlen. Nach Festnahme der Täter und mehreren Gerichtsverhandlungen hat er sein Handy irgendwann zurück bekommen. Aus dem Chatverlauf der Diebe hat er in Dialogform ein klassisches Drama als „Reklame-Band“ veröffentlicht und ich bin jetzt schon gespannt auf die erste Theateraufführung des Werks. Lukas dazu: „Mir wurde vor Jahren mein Telefon von zwei Typen geklaut. Später wurden sie gefasst. Gerichtsverhandlung. Irgendwann bekomme ich mein Telefon wieder. Als ich es anschalte sehe ich, dass der Langfinger mein Telefon zwei Wochen lang benutzt und hunderte Nachrichten geschickt und empfangen hat. Diese findet ihr nun in Form eines Reklame-Bands.“ Die erste Auflage ist leider schon restlos ausverkauft, aber ihr könnt es mit eurer Bestellung mal direkt bei Lukas probieren. Den Teppich gibt’s im Konzept als Kreis oder auch als rechteckige Variante. Das Ganze kann man offiziell leider (noch) nicht kaufen, aber Scott arbeitet gerade daran das Projekt mit einem Teppichproduzenten zu realisieren. Man kann sich aber schon mal per E-Mail informieren lassen, sobald die Teppiche verfügbar sind. The Void Rug, when viewed at a particular angle, creates the illusion of a gaping circular void in the floor. The Contemporary rug design is avalible as a circular version is suitable for larger spaces and a rectilinear version works as a runner in narrower spaces and hallways. Both hand tufted rugs are produced in 100% merino wool. The geometric monotone aesthetic make the designs relevant to a broad range of contemporary domestic interiors.
