Gimme Danger // Trailer der Iggy Pop & The Stooges Doku
„I think I helped wipe out the 60s“.

Black & White Skate Photography // by Luke Paige
Hier ein kleiner Auszug aus den Serien Monumental, Skatehitecture und Motion Poetry: Luke is a young, passionate, human based in Slovenia, with most of his experience in actions sports and lifestyle photography. He started growing passion for photography at the age of 15. Out of his passions for boardsports, he developed his very own emotional visual language. Taking pictures has given him a sense of unity and personal satisfaction. They are relics of his life. Souvenirs of his time. All he has learned concerning light and composition is contained within them. He is also known for his black and white series, in which he is trying to combine three of his favourite passions, board sports, architecture and documentary photography, which had a huge impact on his work. He likes to work and communicate with people and is excited with all parts of photography, preproduction, production and postproduction. This is here to serve as approximations based on a hypothetical film which has never been made.
Weeknight Dinners // by Lois Bielefeld – inkl. Interview
The central motif in my work is the conceptual portrait, specifically portraits that capture the personal connections and human qualities we all share. My goal is to explore common rituals, habits, and spaces that nonetheless reveal individualistic details about our private selves. The focus of Weeknight Dinners is the typical evening meal, when food and space often become secondary to the busy workday. I photographed the portraits Monday through Thursday evenings when time constraints due to work, parenting, and family activities often dictate dinner rituals. There are 78 portraits within the series. I have predominantly photographed in the US and also re-photographed some of the same individuals from an earlier body of work, The Bedroom (2008-2012). In 2015, I spent ten weeks as an artist-in-resident in Bourglinster, Luxembourg where I made 16 dinner portraits of Luxembourg families. Ich habe mit Lois ausserdem ein kleines Interview über ihre Arbeit geführt: Chris: Tell me a little […]One for the night // Kate Tempest: Europe is lost
Yes, it’s a strange world we’re living in. To be even more frank, it’s too late. It’s too late now. It’s gone beyond somebody being right and somebody being wrong. It’s far too late. We’re in the middle of a massive humanitarian crisis. The planet’s on its way out. Well, we are. It’s too late to be tiptoeing around.” It’s the BoredOfItAll generation The product of product placement and manipulation Shoot ‚em up, brutal, duty of care Come on, new shoes, beautiful hair, bullshit! Saccharine ballads and selfies, and selfies, and selfies And here’s me outside the palace of ME! Construct a self and psychosis Meanwhile the people were dead in their droves And, no, nobody noticed; well, some of them noticed You could tell by the emoji they posted Hier die kompletten Lyrics: [Intro] In the basement flat, by the garages Where people dump their mattresses Esther’s in her kitchen, making […]
Ten Meter Tower // Dokumentation
„Would you jump?
Außerdem hab‘ ich jetzt irgendwie Bock auf High Fidelity ;) Telekom Electronic Beats TV investigates the current resurgence in popularity of the most iconic and recognisable symbol of the electronic music scene – the vinyl record. What fuels this fascination? Why is the relationship between this medium and DJs, producers, artists, label managers, distributors and collectors such a personal one? Hear the thoughts of Claas Brieler (Jazzanova), Steffi (Ostgut Ton, Klakson), Finn Johannsen (Hardwax, Macro), Cinthie (Beste Modus), Marc Schneider (Word & Sound) and more for an insight into this world. » via Blogrebellen
