Brick Block // Game Art by Oskar Stålberg
Give it a go!Schwarzweiß-Fotografie von Hengki Koentjoro
Reverie in nature takes form in the black and white of Hengki Koentjoro’s photographs. In his striking signature simplicity, Hengki delicately preserves the dreamy awe in ordinary objects above and under water. Now based in Jakarta, Hengki seeks soundness of mind mostly in the oceans and open nature—away from the buzzing city life.
In their series of portraits, Robbie Postma (chef) and Robert Harrison (photographer) take the viewer back to the origin of a menu. Through visual imagination and culinary flair, they evoke every step of a fine dining experience, but rather than focusing of the final, finessed dishes, MENU makes the raw, unprocessed ingredients the heroes. Served on the closest place you can get to a chef’s mind: on his face. Hier das Behind the scenes zu der Fotoserie: MENU – The craft behind the project. from Tim Arnold on Vimeo. Technology Series (NSFW) // by John Jackson
My „Technology Series“ addresses how our culture is being funneled thru technology, the potential irony, distraction, seduction and how it affects the way we relate and communicate with each other. This subject is explored thru images of people as characters in different settings interacting with each other and technological devices.
Stephen King is one of the most influential authors of horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, science fiction, and fantasy. His dark and twisted imagination has been crucial in shaping the contemporary pop culture since the late 70’s – when his novels were first discovered by filmmakers like Stanley Kubrick and Brian De Palma – until more recently with modern TV series like Stranger Things paying homage to his brilliant influence and […]Charles Bukowski’s Crappy Life // by Blank on Blank
Yeah, they say I’m good with dialogue. I’ve lived a while, heard enough fucking conversations, I oughtta be. I was blessed with a crappy life, that’s all. Credits: One afternoon, Bukowski sat down to record the audio version of his classic, Run With the Hunted. The session took place in his home with his wife by his side. These are the outtakes.
